s we renewed our membership again this year (we’ve
been members since 2002), we decided to add the
Trailering Club option. Of course, we never planned
to use it. Then our son was hauling our 20-foot boat
home on Memorial Day afternoon, when the wheel
broke, and the boat and trailer stopped dead on the road.
We rang your call center and “Chappy” sprang into action.
Being a holiday, he was diligent in finding help and knew that the
boat and truck needed to stay together on a flatbed truck, the kind
that moves bulldozers. He called back within minutes and assured
us that the tractor-trailer was on the way, and would be there in
one hour. Right on time, the truck pulled up, and the boat, truck,
and trailer were taken to Gainesville, approximately 22 miles away.
