Five standouts from the fall boat shows!
Regulator 28 FS
What happens when you take your customer’s input regarding a popular model
and set out to improve it? It grows, just a
bit. Regulator has released a 28-foot center-console designed to be everything their
customers loved about their 26-footer, as
well as everything else their customers said
they wished the 26-footer offered. Two feet
longer, with a foot more beam, the new
28 FS can also handle more horsepower
and comes standard with twin 300-hp
Yamaha V6s on the transom, which now
has a secure, two-part door, allowing easy
access to the integrated swim platform.
Along with a head in the console, seating in
the bow, and a foldaway bench seat in the
stern, this new center console is as family-friendly as they come. LOA 27’ 7”, beam
9’ 5”, fuel 235 gallons. MSRP $159,995.
Metal Shark 35 Courageous
The toughest boats in the world are made of metal,
and the 35 Courageous from Metal Shark boats is
designed to the same rigorous standards demanded by
the company’s military and law-enforcement patrol-craft
customers. This recreational version is built from 1/4-
inch-thick 5086 aluminum, making it light, tough, and
low maintenance. Capable of speeds to 65 mph when
powered with 900-hp outboards, the 35 Courageous
will get you where you’re going and back again in just
about any sea state. LOA 35’, beam 10’, draft 2’, fuel
400 gallons. Standard power is twin Yamaha 350s.
$239,900 well-equipped. www.MetalSharkBoats.com
